Great Company - Toxic First Line Management

Pros

Great company to work for, well meaning executive management. Great employee friendly policies. Good mobility between groups.

Cons

Toxic first line management, no empathy, slave drivers and makes me wonder how & why they promote these clowns.

Great name recognition for your resume. Decent benefits.

Cons

It's a popularity contest through and through. An employee is graded on how well he/she kisses up to management and not performance or productivity. A person can be the most productive and the most technical member of the group and still end up at the bottom 5% for frivolous reasons. Managers only cares about trimming the workforce. Annual layoffs are detrimental to productivity. They will do everything possible to break and humiliate you on your way out.
