Pros

Work from home, competitive pay, market leader in everything

Cons

Too many all hands calls to bash white people and scream racism. In your face die hard liberal leadership. Gave $1M to BLM. CEO recently said we don't want your thoughts and prayers they don't work anymore. We need to take action. This in regards to recent violence in the US. Desperately anti gun. Blindly follows anything Liberal politicians tell them to with no regard to other views. Publicly bashed white people, Republicans, pro 2nd amendment employees, and likened them all to terrorists and racists!

Pros

Cisco benefits are good. Food was free before cisco acquisition not now. Apart from imiconnect , you can join other team for technical and personal growth.

Cons

Imiconnect is the worst team. Managers or VP don’t have manners to talk. They use local language in all group meetings. If you want to learn politics then please join imiconnect otherwise you can join other team You have to work 12 hours everyday. Please talk to people working in imiconnect before joining imiconnect. Leaves are there but you won’t be able to take it because of high work pressure. VP doesn’t have technical knowledge so please don’t try to make him understand the issue.

Cisco (like many other companies today) conforms to the zeitgeist

Pros

* Competitive compensation * Great benefits * Diverse work-force throughout company * Flexible work hours (on many teams)

Cons

* Inconsistencies with rewards and changes to compensation * Company diversity may not be as evident on smaller (scale) teams * HR exists more for the company PR and less so for the individual (unless you can create a social-media frenzy) * Company spends a LOT of time on feel-good sensitivity initiatives for employees. So much so that it does not seem genuine but rather was developed to muster good PR and conform with the zeitgeist - make delicate flowers more comfortable.
