Pros

One of the only companies I've worked for that tries to care as best they can for their employees, even when pressures are high. Production, Supervisors and HR are very hardworking, friendly and helpful. The work feels less "cog in a machine" because your input is valued and you can just walk up to another artist/department to discuss problems and figure out solutions. The company paid for independent financial advisers to come in once a month to help employees with any sort of issue regarding their financial life or pension. They also tried to re-pay some overtime which is the first time I've seen a London Company do that. Baby steps, but it was appreciated! And they also held a spectacular Wrap Party with an abundance of food, drinks and fun.

Cons

Based in a basement office the lack of natural light can be depressing (although no-one will tell you off for having a little outside break :) ) There was no prep supervisor or proper training for prep artists which meant they where sometimes let go/replaced to keep up the pace. The usual overtime cons that come with working in VFX. At least at this company it seems like they want to change for the better.
