Pros

Good flexible working practice Great talent

Cons

Little or no understanding or appreciation of cultural nuances Chaotic management style All the decisions are made behind closed doors Lack of collaboration, openness and transparency Lack of clarity and direction When we were Ochre House, there was an an amazing culture that encouraged creativity, autonomy and encouraged people to flourish. Since we became Cielo, its a stifling, controlling and mico managed culture! Values are just a mash up of words - they don't mean anything anymore

Pros

I've waited an extended amount of time to write this review so I could be as objective as possible. -If you get a great Manager and a great Client, you will love Cielo (Pinstripe). They really do practice the 'We Become You' phrasing they use, so I often felt like I was an employee of the Client. Which was great, when you had a great Client. -They did provide me ample notice to wrap up my assignment and find a new opportunity. Unfortunately at the time they'd lost one of their key 'Business Development' professionals, so there was nothing internal for me to consider that was appealing. -A great program has been developed to train Coordinators on Recruiting. This is great for the company and for entry level talent to learn from Recruiters. -Great way for fresh out of college folks to learn more about Recruiting -If you are not rolled out the door when you're rolled off a client, you get the opportunity to work with several different clients. Which is great if you love learning to work with several different company cultures, source for a variety of different positions, solve a lot of really complex recruiting problems, etc. -CEO is fantastic! She has the absolute best energy! I'm really hoping that she doesn't know a lot of the 'day-to-day' misgivings of some of the Client Service Managers/Directors towards the Recruiters/Coordinators. -I loved the Recruiters/Coordinators on my team. I hope to have the opportunity to work with many of them again.

Cons

- compensation is not great. You can make much more by going elsewhere. I actually tripled my salary when I left (well, when I was 'rolled off my client') - Unfortunately, these great Managers and Clients (mentioned above) generally leave Pinstripe (Cielo), so you're left with Client Service Directors who function mostly as robots with no Recruiting experience whatsoever asking you to churn out meaningless reports for which they are not able to articulate the function of. They are Account Managers. If you interview with a Manager who has Recruiting experience and they stay with Cielo, hang on tight and try to follow from Client to Client. These Managers are golden. -There are some great managers and there are some horrible managers. I had both. Unfortunately the horrible ones are still there (All but 1 of the great managers has left). -Did not feel that my contributions were valued whatsoever. I made them a great deal of money and then was disposable. -They heavily use Career Builder (or they did). No one puts their resumes on Career Builder or Monster anymore. If they do, they're not generally the quality of individual that companies are looking for. Look to invest in better technology tools for the Recruiters to use so they're set up for success. -Work/Life Balance is definitely an issue. I believe there may have even been a few cases of individuals being asked to work overtime and not marking this on their time card. This is extremely concerning and I hope that Cielo looks in to this issue if they look in to absolutely nothing else from my review.

Fun Culture

Pros

Lots of room for career advancement and management is ready to help challenge you and develop new skills. Fun culture. You can wear casual wear on Friday including tennis shoes. You can also wear jeans all week long with a dressier top.

Cons

Pay seems lower compared to industry standards.
