Pros

Tons of resources for recruiting and a great amount of training and continued education opportunities available to learn and grown as recruiter.

Cons

I spent more than 20 hours a week of my time completing CYA documentation and in unproductive meetings, yet was expected to document 40 hours per week interviewing and screening candidates. I was forced to contact my hiring managers with the CYA documentation so often many started to ignore my emails.

Pros

Ability to work virtually, great co-workers, excellent company resources & great opportunities to work with professional clients.

Cons

Company motto within recruiting teams: Fill em' & bill em'. I understand meeting & exceeding bottom line goals, but this isn't always the foremost process to be proud of. Lack of formalized training (beginning career & ongoing). Some Team Lead Recruiters & Clent Service Mgr.'s are not receptive to suggestions, ideas or lean processes. If you express your true feelings & ideas & they don't match the vision of CSM/Team Lead Revruiter, you will wish you'd never communicated this information & reprocusions will occur. If full time salary, plan on working 60+ hours. When requisition loads are low for one account, you will be required to assist on other accounts, typically not an issue. I was provided less than 3 hours to learn another ATS, not provided names, email or phone numbers to contact management on other accounts. Expectations are not clear & communication in a professional manner is lacking (management & administrative assistants). If you have been a corporate - high level recruiter, you will not be happy @ Cielo. Lastly, I agree with another review, if you are older:mature and have a strong & successful background in client relations & take pride in your work, management will not be happy with you in the long run. They are seeking young want to be's without a voice, knowledge or experience in recruiting & those who will work hard for little pay. If you are over 40, don't consider this company & RPO/Recruiter position. Management wants Recruiters who can't think for themselves, who have professional experience & a VOICE. I assure you I'm not a disgruntled former employee. I just know right from wrong & professionalism at all levels. Way too many emails passed along.
