      Some friendly staff, frequent casual social gatherings, nice new building.

      Cons

      Entitled scientists, rampant nepotism and below-market compensation. Disorganized management and poor PTO/family leave.

      Pros

      Coworkers are great people and very knowledgeable and supportive

      Cons

      Management is terrible. Act like it’s a great place to work and care for their employees then turn around and let a third of them go. They don’t even inform team managers/supervisors of the layoffs. No reassurance to employees that remain or mention of layoffs and even joke during company wide meeting right after. They do nothing for employee morale.

      Pros

      Learned a lot in plant science, great experience for people new to plant biology field and want experience in either lab or greenhouse work. Provide benefits and 401 k.

      Cons

      Terrible for wages, seem to be lacking mentors for their employees, not a lot of opportunity to advance. Managers and directors need improvement, they are generally disconnected.
