      Good for a quick job. Move on asap

      Pros

      Driving the shuttle you earn tips. You meet people from all over the world. You work independently. The pay is above min wage.

      Cons

      High turnover. Manager finds is always negative and will never appreciate your hard work . You will work weekends forever and if someone calls In sick then someone else will be working 16 hours. No benefits. No future. You will be tormented on your days off or when your not clocked in. Some of the women there are evil, hateful and will backstab and make up lies about you.

As a franchisor, Choice Hotels International does not own or operate hotels franchised under its brands and the hotel staff are employed by the independent owner of the hotel. We recommend that you provide your feedback on the applicable brand site on Glassdoor (e.g., Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, etc.) and identify the particular hotel at which you were employed.

      Pros

      The CEO does a great job of communicating with all the associates. They are also making a LOT of personnel changes which makes it seem like the overall company is being positioned to be something else.

      Cons

      As an insider at the corporate headquarters I know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that the HR Dept. does not pay women fairly compared to men so why should we believe the rest of the company does.

      Pros

      sensitive to work/family needs and working at home some days. Performance reviews recognize accomplishments, BUT 90% of people are expected to work in the top of the bell curve and receive only moderate performance ratings. Great office, new, nice amenities and location in Rockville with lots of free parking and Red Line nearby. Affiliations with local gym and many restaurants nearby.

      Cons

      Pressure to pick up pace, get more work out of people and provide only moderate increases and bonus levels.
