Pros

Currently, I see no pros. I’m so genuinely saddened by how downhill this company has gone this year. Once a company focused on work life balance and employee happiness, now a dictating authoritarian command chain. They’ve stripped our work from home benefits with zero exceptions or flexibility. If your kids are sick, too bad. Take a day off. If they have no school for two weeks, too bad, find alternate childcare. Yet they continue to let MULTIPLE resources work from home. It’s okay for some but not others. It’s incredibly biased and unfair. Emails have been written expressing zero flexibility or tolerance for not being in the office. Meaning they care nothing about your personal life, work/life balance, or mental health. All they care about is bodies in the office. You know, so we can sit on zoom calls with the people they allow to be remote. Management has also gone extraordinarily downhill. Very minimal positive feedback. Lots of negative feedback and we mostly only hear from them when there’s a new rule they’re implementing. Rude and dismissive behavior towards employees. Career growth is limited. Low annual raises. No bonuses. No stock options. Productivity skyrocketed during our work from home time. The company saw BILLIONS in profits over the last few years, yet they choose to punish us instead of letting us have autonomy.

Cons

Over 90% of us have expressed our unhappiness with the changes and new policies. We’ve submitted company surveys on our unhappiness and needs and They have told us they do not care. They have made it so your life is all about work as if you’re not human and have other life responsibilities. They’ve lost their compassion all together. It’s shameful. You can’t even go to a doc appt without being required to take the day off. It’s absurd!! They’ve even asked people from out of state to come into the office on their own dime! Management doesn’t care about you. Benefits are ok. Not the greatest. Biased culture. Unfair policies. Low growth opportunities. Low raises. Indifferent management. Pizza parties instead of solid recognition. This place has become toxic through and through. I hope Pat Pacious realizes he’s hurting his workforce and makes some changes.

Pros

Hospitality is a nice industry to be in. People are nice and friendly.

Cons

You will not be able to grow in this company without knowing the right people, at the right time. I have seen so many talented and dedicated people stuck at some level, making their 3rd-4th lateral move in their 7-8th year (eventually, they give up and move on), while some others can climb the career ladder in 3 years. More often than not, positions get filled without being announced. While I understand that the company has no obligation to announce a position, I can't see how a remote employee who doesn't have the opportunity to build a network will be considered for those roles.

Pros

Nice office, good amenities and some really smart people who want to do well.

Cons

Sales is a mess. There have been 5 heads of sales in the past 6 years ranging from ineffectual to raging lunatics. This effects all levels from marketing to distribution to digital.
