      I had internship with 4 other international oil companies and chose to work full-time for Chevron, hands down.

      It's a large company, accept processes or don't come.

      Pros

      Friendly employees, great benefits, and strong culture. Lots of stability and job opportunities. Great teamwork and non-competitive environment. Salaries and bonus are attractive. Multiple work locations but major offices are in the Bay Area and San Ramon. Great tuition reimbursement program.

      Cons

      Bureaucracy, process driven, and inefficient. Work force average age is on the older side. No free food and workloads are increasing. Business units and functional groups often work in silos.

      Pros

      The best company to launch your career, move your career, or rekindle your career. We only hire the best individuals and we take care of them. Chevron has one of the most amazing development programs of any company. The well being of their employees far surpasses the companys self interest. Im in the Horizons program and it allows individuals to rotate between job assignments to gain a very understanding of your chosen dicipline. Great work life balance, amazing salary with out of this world benefits.

      None, well maybe their Bellaire cafeteria is being a little to healthy for my taste...
