      Sales - avoid it ! They will fire you when you exceed your quota and not pay you commission!

      Pros

      I don't recall anything that stands out. Every once in a while my director would buy us coffee.

      Cons

      Unethical management team. The usual setup is to fire salespeople (plural) once a large deal has closed - therefore not having to pay them commission. The particularly nasty aspect is that in order to do this there has to be "cause". So the story becomes the salesperson was a horrible employee. Then they vigorously fight unemployment. The company is disorganized and literally sets it's people up for failure. If you must take a job to pay the bills then this may work. You will have about 8 months.

      Pros

      Great place to work. Loved the flexibility to work from home office, and the chance to sell a very competitive product. Customer respected the name and made it easy to see customers. Lots of good folks on the sales team.

      Tough times with regard to profitability
