      New desks and chairs are not the way to go

      Pros

      Give new office desks and chairs to the employees.

      Cons

      The upper management laid off too many administrative staff in the past few years, so the current ones are not experienced enough to handle employees' need. The upper management seems to think new desks and chairs bring in quality work and productivities to the company and make employees happy and creative. So if new chairs and desks are what you are looking for, then go join this company.

      We are sorry to hear that you felt this way. It is not uncommon for it to some time to level-set after acquisition restructuring and we are doing all we can now to head in the right direction. We recognize that our employees are our greatest asset and we are doing our best to support them. We hope that the investments in the redesigned office and technology will encourage creativity and commingling.

      Salary was ok but not high enough for putting up with the terrible culture through the entire company.

      Cons

      Do not work here! Terrible team work, terrible decisions with little to no logic. Communication among small teams doesn't exist. Every project is a rush and no time to actually design or develop the products. I feel sorry for the customers because Checkpoint doesn't actually design anything new, they just put what they have, from the past 10 years and put it a new form factor.
