Pros

Cathay Pacific plies its trade on an outdated reputation that no longer applies. But that reputation in turn provides fairly solid job security if you're willing to morph to fit in. Cathay Pacific is risk adverse, which is a positive in any economic environment.

Cons

A lack care and concern for their employees. Profits to shareholders and executives blot out any other priority. Company organization is modular and departments deliberately do not work together resulting in an inefficient work model as they spend more time undercutting each other than making actual progress. Departments are encouraged to nickel and dime budgets often causing other departments to compensate, no real budgeting is occurring.

Very inefficient management and no clear strategic direction which leads to lots of politics, inefficiencies, unrealistic deadlines and therefore stress.
