Not a Good Place to Work

Good people in the plants, doing their best with nominal support

Cons

Operations management is a JOKE, from the SVP down through site leadership - the operational strategy (as voiced by the SVP of Global Operations), "Live to fight another day..." There is no coherent long term vision, upper management totally driven by this quarter's financial results, using labor reductions (at any level of the organization) to "make their number. BEWARE, they are mostly GE management on some kind of equity deal with Blackstone and have no vision past the IPO / Sale.

Pros

Some the most dedicated production staff I've ever worked with. 19 days vacation. Good salary.

Cons

Meat grinder..... As a production supervisor/manager you are in charge of 80-90 people, many lines, mulitple deviations you are chained to your desk writing reports which leaves little time to spend on the floor. If your a new supervisor/manager looking to gain some experience very quickly this maybe the place for you, if your a seasoned supervisor/mananger keep looking.

Never ever beliefe in what is said. Only written contract may safe from being tricked. And even with this, as soon as there is a chance to hornswoggle you they do.

Cons

A lot of people from upper management seem to think that highest interset of employees is to be lazy or to cheat the company
