Excellent atmosphere for getting hands-on training on various analytical techniques and instrumentation. Extremely fast-paced work environment for the energetic analyst.

Cons

No emphasis on personal or professional development IN PRACTICE. Promotions and salary increases above 2% are extremely rare.

Working in Catalent for 8.5 years it sucks to know that someone with the same or fewer responsibilities than you is getting $ 8 -9 more! Knowing the simple fact that someone gets more money than you for the "same job" makes you so miserable. Favoritism; no raises; losing customers,lack of leadership. Extremely low employee morale and because there is little room for advancement there is a lot of deceptive behavior among peer employees. Also the employees are fearful and have no trust in management. Extremely unfair performance reviews and merit increases are lower than the increased cost of living due to inflation. Management receives bonuses when goals are met but no recognition the production employees who actually DO the work!!!
