1. They lie about pay. It says on the application that you’ll make $11.00+/hour but that’s not for associates, that’s for the bakers. You’ll really make a little over minimum wage. That little bit of money isn’t worth all the work they make you do.
2. Favoritism. They have a huge problem with this! At my location they had someone there who was a real problem and they were the favorite. Didn’t have to work weekends and got 30 hours a week while some of us would go WEEKS without working!
3. They feel as if they are above the law. That favorite employee I was talking about physically threatened me while at work and when I went to management, I was told to stop being a baby. Then a week later I get an email while I’m on medical leave saying they are letting me go. I explained while I’m glad they let me go because it was getting to the point where it was costing me money to work there they cannot fire me via email or while I’m on medical leave. Their response was “we can do whatever we want, you work for an at will state”. THERE ARE STILL LAWS PUT IN PLACE!!
