The work is hard, challenging, and the 12 hour rotation (24/7) gives you time to spend with your families.

Cons

Long, hard hours. More office people than shop floor workers. Always a crunch to save money. Get slammed if a mistake is made and no recognition for good performance. Doesn't pay for performance. Less people, more work. No room for advancement except if you know someone at the top. Managers and supervisors know very little of the process.
