Pay is below average. Expect $18 an hour average starting in sales. If your good you might hit 60k for a year. If your really good and live at the store you might Crack 100. Work life balance is rough. Expect to be called on your day off. Expect to work weekends. And if you want to make money Expect to come in on your off hours.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with both great and not-so-great leaders and also challenging coworkers, but those experiences never made CarMax a bad place to work. Instead, they reinforced the importance of challenging when something doesn't seem right, sharing feedback, and helping drive positive change.
