Performance management is killer. If you have an all-star team they will try to find any little imperfection in your work to grade you lower. If you don' have a manager that will stick their neck out for you, prepare to get PIP'd ( they also tend to PIP newer folks due to politics rather than actually try to onboard them). Working while management is breathing down your neck has made the culture extremely toxic here. If you want to survive here, be prepared to play the politics game-work has become increasingly secondary here

Now you get the grind culture and stress of the giants without the pay. It makes little sense to continue employment here when there are better opportunities.
