Pros

none at all - they just want to bill you out for a day rate - AVOID THIS COMPANY as your chances of getting terminated within 2 years is very high.

Cons

No human empathy - 1 year 8 months into the role and terminated 'immediately' due to no roles. - The 2 year termination policy is disgraceful - all individuals should be aware that Capgemini can immediately terminate your role as a permanent resource without notice - AVOID THIS COMPANY. This is shameful practice and badly reflected on Capgemini as I've now come to hear about others who have been through the same process. - There is no empathy or appreciation of resources working in remote locations - AVOID WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - I will 100% never recommend Capgemini or any of it's entities to work for with my professional network.

Catastrophic Leadership

Pros

- A good place to start off your career if you've just graduated. - Basic benefits like pension, healthcare, and holiday leave. - Provides you with some work experience for your CV.

Cons

This organisation serves as a prime example of what not to do in business. It mainly acts as a temporary solution for those in need, offering just enough experience to encourage people to move on. The leadership demonstrates a consistent unwillingness to accept responsibility. Senior management opts to deflect blame for evident failures onto their staff. They instigate disorder by making decisions rooted in unrealistic expectations, subsequently expecting their employees to achieve the impossible to satisfy those demands. When outcomes do not align with their plans, they seek scapegoats rather than examining their own errors. The management of the organisation puts way too much focus on formal qualifications and job titles, ignoring real skills. This leads to a tricky situation where practical know-how is undervalued in favour of certificates and rank. As a result, skilled people with solid experience often miss out on promotions, which affects both their motivation and the organisation's performance. There aren't clear routes for professional growth, and it stifles creative thinking, creating a culture where accountability is avoided rather than tackled head-on. The organisation's management structure has quite a few operational inefficiencies and issues. These systemic problems create an environment that can seriously affect employee development and engagement. While a short stint might be okay, staying longer could have major career consequences, such as fewer chances for advancement and a possible decline in professional motivation, especially when individual contributions aren't properly recognised or appreciated.

Pros

* Salary on time * You can come to office at 10am and leave at 3:00Pm if you're in good books of your manager. * Constant booze parties (almost daily) if you're in good books of manager and he/she will reimburse it to client as 'team-lunch' anyway. * Made me introspect and think about my career choices * Great place to get humbled if you ever think you have any self-worth * If you don't like freedom, expect to be watched over on every step literally and virtually (keylogger software in work laptop) though being a senior, mature employee, don't look anywhere else. Come join us.

Cons

* Zero flexibility if you are not in the good books of the manager. * Micromanagement * Unrealistic expectations from resources * Need to handle multiple part-time roles with the pay of one full-time role. * Lethargic, jumpy leadership with no clarity of vision and no adherence to global policies * STRATEGY = 'Hire one senior resource and 3 freshers, make the senior resource do all the job including training the freshers, mint money from the margin of freshers, discard the senior resource when project is complete'. ; Rinse, Repeat! * Biased to locals, favoritism spread like cancer * If you are an outsider, HR knowing your pay and will start to hate you from day-1 since outsiders get paid more. * "Equality" is in talks and on paper. Working from abroad is allowed only for 'developed' countries. * If you have a passport from a third-world country, you will be reminded about it constantly but subtly. * Is your passport from a first-world country? Oh well, then you wouldn't be here and would pick Singapore instead. :-)
