Pros

Weekly pay, benefits start day one, lots of stores in surrounding areas to transfer to if you move, fast paced environment

Cons

All of the pros have more cons to it. Weekly pay is nice, but is certainly lower than competitors. Benefits do start on day one, but they aren't great and can be pricey. Stores don't usually take transfers, they call them "trans-fired". Caliber is most definitely a corporate entity; there are some good people still there, but there is always a pressure of hitting numbers and cranking out cars at EOM.

I left and tried to come back, Could not even get a phone call as this is the good old boys club, When you advance tow truck drivers to District managers the industry needs help!

Pros

The pros of this company is job security. It is next to impossible to be fired from this company. The company is so big you can basically transfer anywhere in the US whenever you want no problems.

Cons

There are too many, I’ll list a couple. Starting with pay, the techs now make decent flag rates, however caliber is so submissive to insurance companies that you almost NEVER get what a job is worth. You would think being the BIGGEST collision center in the US that they would have more say, and that’s not how it is. All they care about is numbers. Literally. Next is PTO and sick time. It sucks horribly. You get 40 hours of combined PTO and sick hours a year for the first 2 years. Then you get 80, and after 10 years they give you 120. Mind you that is COMBINED sick and PTO. This company truly only cares about the managers and owners. As a regular employee they really do not care about you. It’s turning into ABRA all over again. They will fail in the next few years.
