Pros

It’s a job that pays you. That’s about it.

Cons

Corporate is the biggest issue I have with this company. They are incredibly slow but since COVID they are EXTREMELY SLOW. When I had my first interview there it took over a month before I could start working because of how long it took corporate to get me into the system. My boss told me the pay was $15 an hour, it was actually $11. I was promoted in less than a year but it took 4 months for my $11 salary to change to $13, though my manager had me working the duties of my promotion during that time. I waited A YEAR AND A HALF to see the back pay I was owed. I’m currently on a medical leave of absence and I’m still waiting for them to give me the sick time I accrued. They never have enough people working it was always only 2 people per shift working the store, we were always understaffed, stressed, and the only thing CVS cares about is us selling their monthly memberships. They do not care about their employees at all. If they did care I wouldn’t have needed to demand the money I was owed for well over a year. I do not recommend anyone work here, considering no one actually knows what they’re doing. It was an absolute nightmare and I look forward to never stepping inside another CVS as long as I live.

Pros

work from home paid days off benefits

Cons

stressful, lack of proper training, and supervision, I received 3 weeks of hundreds of self guided work instructions via remote before taking live calls from members from thousands of different insurance plans with no practice on Jan 2 " the busiest week of the year..." When I finally started to feel like I knew what i was doing 3 months in, they then tossed me in another remote training class with 50 other people where they have the instructor guide you through the tests so that they can say you are trained and then I started taking Medicaid calls on top of commercial "without a raise" and then a week ago , after getting back from vacation I was notified I was "promoted" and being transferred to a partner company without my consent that had nothing but countless 1 star reviews, BBB complaints, antiquated software and a much higher level of angry members yelling at you all day everyday because it's a horrible company, and the first thing we were told in training is that a member or medical staff asks we are to tell them we do not work for caremark, which was the final straw for me, currently job hunting now because when I told the new supervisor that I never consented and wanted nothing to do with this company he told me to log off of my computer with no further updates

Pros

My co-workers /management was always understanding and helpful.

Cons

I felt like taking a lunch break was a burden on the team, because when I would get back from even a 15 minute break the pharmacy would already be way behind since we were short staffed (especially during the start of the pandemic). I would be the best performer on my team and get a 10 cent raise every year. Some years I didn't get a raise. I believe one year I got a dollar or so since they bumped up the starting pay for employees, but that was the best I got. Most pharmacies struggled and only a fortunate few had low enough prescription counts to be able to maintain a regular workflow.
