Pros

The company does care about it's employees and their benefits. Managers are flexible and accommodating. Work life balance is frequently addressed and while not perfect, they do offer proactive solutions.

Cons

One must diligently, proactively and proactively reach out to get things done. There seems to be an attitude of "not my job, not my department" across numerous areas of the business. Implementing creative new strategies to tackle projects is easier said than done.

Pros

There are tons of policies and procedures to help you learn what you are supposed to do. You will learn the right way to run a pharmacy from a business point of view.

Cons

If you are promoted to a Pharmacist in Charge, you will be asked to do what your supervisor wants you to do. You will not be allowed to do what the Board of Pharmacy wants you to do. If you expect the company to back you up on your requests you are wearing rose colored glasses.

Pros

Good salary Gift card given every quarter Helpful coworkers and managers when it comes to answering questions.

Cons

-Slow EMR and out dated browsers and old computers (this hopefully will be changing soon due to new EMR coming out) -Benefits are ok, but expensive -Sometimes employees are short on hours and have to beg managers for extra shifts. -Slow PTO accrual, and its always a long drawn out process to get your PTO. -Only 40 hours of PTO roll over to the next year.
