High pharmacist turnover...and I see why

Pros

I lucked up and I am in an area where the physician's offices are receptive to advice, questions about orders, and their staff calls back. Patients receptive to counseling. (Notice these pros are unrelated to CVS itself.) If you are looking to lose weight, you will achieve this goal due to intermittent fasting on your days of work.

Cons

Subpar technicians due to lack of hours, horrible pay, no decent training. Training? What's that? Unreasonable metrics. Pharmacy too open which can violate hippa (maybe if they get sued, they will build higher walls.) Bathroom break? Is relieving yourself really necessary? Eating? What's that? High risk of errors due to pressure of metrics, customers who just blurt out questions (they would never do this to medical doctors) and disrupt your concentration

Pros

Entry salary Health Insurance - This can vary depending upon your demographic for a single young professional with no health issues - it's pretty good. Flexible WFH Schedule - Can vary depending upon dept./business unit. Most areas offer at least two WFH days. Many people work completely remote. They're more open than some other large entities I've dealt with. Onsite Workout Facility - Well equipped 24 hr. workout facility and other opportunities to stay in shape. Employee Recognition - Recognition is preached AND practiced

Cons

Tools - Software,Systems, and Applications - Very old and outdated tools (AS400). Updates to software are inconsistent i.e. Windows 13 with SharePoint 2007. Work/Life Balance - Varies depending on dept./business unit. Employee Engagement - From an enterprise level. Raise/Bonus Structure - Salary Negotiation Executive Leadership - Greedy and self-absorbed.
