Pros

Full time is typically 30 hours a week. Which is good because you still qualify for full time benefits, but of course you only get paid for the hours you work.

Cons

Benefits are average. High deductible insurance plans. Average PTO. We used to get extra PTO for CEs, which they have now taken. NO HOLIDAY BONUS, which is terrible. Very tiny bonuses ($100-200) for Covid- also terrible. They continue to PILE on our day to day task like you wouldn’t believe DURING the pandemic. Adding so many services, but not offering more than online learning (without any additional time to complete them in). It’s unsafe for both provider and patient.

Pros

Working remote during the pandemic

Cons

Working at CVS Health Corporate is like being in a cult. Management is very obsessed with power and control and they could care less about their employees. They drain you, never give anyone praise who actually does the work and all of Management behave like spoiled bratty kids. The culture is filled with cliques and they show a lot of favoritism to one race which is the good ole boys and girls club. People who have never solved a business problem or added anything to the team receive the promotions based upon who they know at the top. Managers threaten and go out of their way to make you uncomfortable to the point where they force you to quit if you don't play their game. No one there has a voice and you won't be taken seriously even when you do speak up. They even so desperately persuaded employees to go on social media to promote a fake campaign where CVS is the best place to work, which is the biggest joke of all time. People want to speak up and stand up to management, but they're too afraid of retaliation which CVS is famous for. Be very careful who you trust there because it's a dog eat dog culture where people step on the next person just to get above. CVS does not live their values and they sell dreams just to get you in the door. Before the pandemic when everyone was in office, it was very segregated where only certain groups spoke to one another and everyone else was treated like an outcast. It's really a shame that no one at the top cares enough to put a stop to the leaders who have created a very toxic culture. They try to make it seem great in the beginning when you first start but you will quickly see that it is just all talk. You will also be promised promotions that they will never give you and if you try to move around in Analytics, they make it so the move is lateral so your pay will not increase and you are stuck. If you want to work for a cult, by all means fill out an application and go work there to see for yourself. That place is filled with people who hate their jobs because management is so horrible and only care about themselves. Think twice before working at this place because they all lie to keep one another in power and you will never advance there unless you sell your soul as many have done, but even they aren't happy. Many people are underpaid, overworked and unappreciated.
