Pros

Benefits and the ability to leave work at work

Cons

HEAVY workload. You perform the job of 3 employees! Responsibilities: - Acting as healthcare provider (acute, and some chronic care- Hives to Hypertension, reviewing lab results and calling patients with results) - Acting as MA (obtaining patient health/medical history, medication reconciliation, vitals, phlebotomy etc.) -Acting as front desk/receptionist (assisting with patient check-in, answering customer questions, dealing with customer complaints/ customer satisfaction, handling insurances, scheduling follow up appointments) -Acting as office manager (tracking inventory, ordering office supplies, cleaning clinic, mopping floors, taking out trash, end of day financial reconciliation with CVS manager on duty) Pay is also well below market value for position- plus additional job responsibilities. Expect 15min average visit time for everything from coughs to DOT exams (including checking in patient/handling insurance, patient contact and address info etc./obtaining medical history) *also note, MC practices “slow boiling the frog” business model. you will be expected to perform not only those duties initially assigned to you..but also any and all duties added thereafter.

Pros

Can't even think of a pro reason to work at CVS Aetna

Cons

The pay for this position and other positions within the company are way below average. You are required to be on camera during training so that the supervisors can sit there and watch you like a hawk, which makes you feel extremely uncomfortable, all while their cameras are off. The seasoned employees so far have been rude, condescending and very micromanaging. They only offer 30 min lunches on top of everything which makes it extremely difficult for you especially if you are a mother working from home and trying to care for your little one or even going out to run an errand, or cook dinner like most if us remote workers do. I just started this job and I am already looking for another one.

Pros

Remote work on some days

Cons

No overtime but more work than can possibly be done in 40 hours per week. Consistent phone calls outside of the 8-430 work day because of call-outs. Bare minimum training. Trying to do the job of 3 people - this position eliminated pharmacy schedulers & district admin and additionally is expected to also help out in stores and get pharmacy tech certified if not already. Schedule changes for the following week come down with close to no notice. Expected to be the district leader’s “right hand” making 1/4 of what they make.
