Pros

There are none, CVS will suck the joy out of the most basic pleasures, like breathing, and turn them into metrics you can never achieve. You will be beaten verbally about the face and head every day regarding your responsibility to maintain a 75% positive 'consumer regard' for CVS, which is impossible because everyone hates CVS. The managers will tell you to lie to members, so they do not understand how the benefits work because they do not want members to know what role the employer group plays in determining benefit coverage. Believe me when I tell you I was there for 5 years and it was a soul killing, miserable experience, every single day. And this was a work from home job. It had me not wanting to go into my own office after work I was so poisoned from the misery of the members.

Cons

You are just a piece of talking meat. They will leave you to rot on the phones and do nothing to help you advance no matter how hard you try and no matter how good your metrics are. There is a hidden agenda with CVS and advancement, they get federal grants for promoting transexuals and other LGTBQ members. They are also all about promoting transexualism and they are 100% supportive of transitioning babies and small children as long as someone is paying for the butchery services we call medicine today.

Pros

Work from home is available for some departments

Cons

Limited training Toxic atmosphere Limited support from management No real chance for promotion or pay raise (this has changed dramatically lately, used to be fair) HR/Advice and Counsel is impartial at best, dismissive mostly. Schedules are based on a whim, even if a previous schedule had been agreed to and worked for years. No work life balance High turnover (including supervisory staff) Supervisors are barely active, until introducing random new metrics that arent relevant and micromanaging until it gets unbearable and most of the team leaves.
