Pros

It is a large company with many options as far as location and position. It is a progressive company and takes its role in health care delivery seriously and does care about client and member satisfaction.

Cons

It is growing too large, too fast. There have been so many mergers of culture and operating system that a great deal of time is spent on trying to figure out how to bring it all together. Caremark and Advance PCS merged more than 5 years ago but still are not fully integrated. Now they are bringing RxAmerica and CVS's PBM.

Pros

Employee Discount, Stock Options, FSA Debit Card, friendly coworkers.

Cons

Lack of Communication within management, unorganized, inconsistent information, focused too much on bottom line and budget instead of customer service and employees, management does not defend employees-will cater to customers who are abusive even when they are in the wrong, stores are desperately understaffed, payroll budget constantly being scrutinized and cut, not all employees are treated equally, laws are not followed by management.

Pros

I found that the base pay was good considering the work that I was doing. Also if I stayed there was a definite opportunity to advance up the chain. It also gave me the chance to put my pharmacy knowledge to good use in a community setting. It helped me see what types of things a pharmacist is suppose to know in a local pharmacist. Also they were flexible with my time schedule allowing me work around my class schedule. This helped me a lot there, and allowed me to continue working. Also being near a pharmacist allowed me to see what the possibilities of my career path could take.

Cons

I found especially in Princeton, the customers felt that they could treat us any way. I can not begin to count the amount of times that I was yelled at/cursed at because something did not ring up correctly. Also the amount of time you spend standing on your feet I found that to be very tiring, and this I did not like at all.
