Pros

Great if you get good management and like the people you work with. Decent working environment. The work isn't exciting (corp.) but your friends at work can get you through the day.

Cons

I use to like working here, but it's going downhill fast. Cutting jobs, cutting vacation time, tuition reimbursement, etc. Don't tell us that you need to cut costs then brag about booking 11 billion in PBM profits for 2011. Don't use the leverage of a bad economy to squeeze your employees out of PTO (that is earned - not a true benefit) and other benefits just to please Wall St. Don't give money away (Home Makeover show) and then cry poverty and enforce cost cutting (employee and benefit cutting really). You want to cut costs, start charging for coffee (we get it free). I'd be happy to pay for coffee if it meant saving the company money and jobs. I'm tired of hearing that we're lucky to have jobs. Talented people with healthy skills are happy to have jobs, not lucky.

Pros

Coworkers are friendly, there's always something different to do so time flies. 30% off CVS products definitely comes in handy, while 20% other products in the store is nice to have.

Cons

Schedule is posted only a few days before the next workweek. Hours fluctuate- can be working a morning shift one day and until 12am the next, so life outside of work is non-existent. Pay is pretty low.

Pros

Its a job! Right now I am happy to have a job. The vacation time is pretty good too. I have worked for the company for 5 years and this year I have 3 weeks of vacation.

Cons

I feel somewhat stuck. I don't feel that CVS likes to promote women. I feel under paid for the experience, education, and hard work I bring to the workplace. I am earning my MBA currently and I make $12.69 an hour. I work for a pharmacy company, but get paid so little I can't afford medical insurance.
