In addition to everything everyone else lists: the archaic and subjective review process, and no yearly merit increases, you will more than likely have the bad fortune of working for a terrible manager (or more than one), working alongside other employees who are unhappy, disengaged and stressed, and more than likely having to do the work of one or two other employees (and not on a short term basis). The culture is simply miserable. The company does not care about its employees.

Company is not very organized. Not very good at training people or moving them within the company. Engineering process a bit chaotic. Raises have been very poor over the last 7 years or so, despite the company doing well throughout most of the recession. High performing employees are not given raises over lower performing employees Many people are leaving or have left. Company is downsizing, especially in test departments. Note falling rating over the last year. Italian management can be problematic - very hard to work together. Don't take a job with an Italian boss (sorry)! Many ex-Navistar employees in electronics
