- corporate structure great intro for college grads wanting exposure to corporate life - structured employee evaluation process allows employees to navigate a career changes throughout the firm - internal share/stock program for employees

Cons

- corporate shareholder decisions totally will screw with your earnings - the higher the management chain, the more removed management is from core service/product and more involved with firm's financial stability

Pros

Flex work schedule. Unless you are paid hourly, this is not recommended. Many salary employees work way more than 40 hours and you are responsible for finding your own work. If work is slow, a lot of employees have to use their vacation time to make their 40 hrs.

Cons

They are reorganizing and just had massive layoffs because management made poor business decisions on multiple projects. I would not recommend joining this company at this time.

We really appreciate your feedback. In the third quarter of 2016, we began transitioning to our new Client-centric Operating Model. As part of this transition, we simplified CH2M’s structure to better support our clients as well as open up a pathway for more profitable growth. The restructure resulted in reducing CH2M’s total global workforce of 22,000 by 4 percent. That’s behind us now, and we’re already seeing signs of success with new client wins and strong backlog. We’re sorry to hear that you left the company and hope you’ll consider joining us again someday.

Not as many as there once was.

Many more than Pros. Was hopeful when the CEO Jacque took over that the company would migrate back to the way it was run under Ralph Peterson as Jacque knows the historical culture from the days when the employees were its biggest asset and were a main focus. Unfortunately, she seems to be continuing the mindset of the previous CEO Lee as an outsider that had no regard (only lip service) for its employees. He was able to talk the talk but not walk the walk. Main focus was growing the company stock value at 10+ percent per year at all costs while lining his pockets with big $$$.

We’ve created a Manager of Projects role focused on the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects. The person will also serve as a developmental coach for Project Managers, as well as a project management specialist who engages directly with our clients to ensure that we’re meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
