1) Canadian multi-national with a large backlog ($15B) of contracts. 2)CGI stock has held up well during the 2008 economic meltdown. 3)The workforce is diverse and skilled. 4)The benefits are flexible

Pros

Best Place to learn and most of the time work is fun

Cons

Depending on branch, CGI pays very low amount of salary. Its like working in a call center. In some branches, more people are leaving than they hire. Trust me, people don't just leave they have strong reasons behind that.

Pros

Just by the sheer limit of tech jobs in Southwest Virginia, CGI is really only one of two options. If you can't find anything better elsewhere, you might come here.

Cons

Expectations are high, training on meeting those expectations are low. Promotions are given to those who have no leadership experience and it shows. Morale is horrible. Bonuses are treated unfairly. Weekends and late nights are expected and you're expected to be in the office, but "flex" time and working from home was promised in the beginning. Salaries and raises are pitiful. I could go on...
