Pros

In general, hours are not long and flexibility is provided to work from home. Benefits, i.e., health insurance, are good.

Cons

Very few opportunities for advancement. No training for new hires and ongoing training consists of access to a portal with online classes of poor quality. It is possible to obtain funds for taking classes, but it's not advertised and count on going through a lot of red tape. Limited number of projects, and regional consulting model means that if you are unable to find a project in your immediate area, you will most likely be asked to relocate instead of being put on a project that accepts travelers. Raises are very low and seem to be decided independently of performance, given that each business unit and sector has a limited number of funds to split between employees.

Pros

Great pay if you have experience. Good assignments when they have them. Nice people, but not a cohesive team due to distant, aloof management.

Cons

Business development is lame and your future is always uncertain. Management is shaky at best.

Pros

On the surface: good set of values, many clients, wide range of expertise needed. However this company is managed like a holding (for share price). As such, it is better for financial analysts with a little IT experience than for IT specialists looking for growth, and diverse training.

Cons

Published values not respected from upper management and down the chain. No IT leadership as this company follows the train and is mostly for "body" placement. Very little empowerment of employees as decisions power is kept at the top with little delegation thru the ranks (middle management and employees). Management structure changes frequently. Very weak HR function with few described roles and responsibilties. No ombudsman to enforce sound management practices. Training is hard to come by. On the whole, a large company managed like a small one.
