      Pros

      Opportunity to work globally; get exposure to international business through work in Canada and Europe. Flexible geographic location possible with CGI.

      Cons

      They are a consulting business and treat employees as commodities or inventory to be sold; they are very short term focused so don't plan for the future. If they have a need for more people because of a job today, they hire; if that job is gone, they fire. There isn't any long term plan to keep the most valuable people to be able to do great work in the future.

      Pros

      In some cases, you will be given opportunities to learn a variety of skills and grow. On the right project, you will get leadership experience. Success is highly dependent on your assigned areas and project. Work with very interesting, highly capable colleagues from a variety of disciplines, especially on the delivery side.

      Cons

      Career development opportunities are more of a concept; promotion path is vague, can take years, and appears to be too selective/strict. Building a successful career here can be difficult, with no real path for growth. Process and numbers are extremely emphasized.
