- Good benefits package - they hire the brightest and smartest (most of the time) - Good work-life balance, no long hours - Minimal travel for most people, with the exception of senior execs, they sell local and deliver local

Cons

- Forced vacation for some when there is downtime

Pros

Good people, friendly, interesting work, opportunity to shine. Ability to manage own time and diary, however projects can make this harder. Some great products and services to provide to customers but needs better marketing. Good exposure in market place with executive level clients for junior consultants which may not be available in similar positions with competitors.

Cons

Pay reviews and increases on promotion poor. Does not reflect other competitors at similar levels. Training and development is poor. Little direction from senior team allowing personal development as funding not available.

Pros

Mostly good people to work with, most fairly flexible and upfront. They had a decent benefits package, probably in the middle of the road for similar companies in the industry.

Cons

I was paid significantly below my market rate for a number of years, very difficult to get staffed on a new project, limited networking opportunities. It was also very difficult to transition into a new role after developing expertise in several specific areas. The Staffing process was incredibly painful.
