      Pros

      CCTV gives people who are just entering media industry a lot of experience. You could be a presenter with no prior experience - if you know a little bit of Chinese.

      Cons

      You pretty much stay on the same position forever, and you won't have significant wage raises. All the managerial positions are taken by the Chinese staff. Also, if you have a lot of experience in media, you might not be very compatible with Chinese style of work.
