Pros

An exciting company to work for with opportunities to work with some of the most prestigious clients in the world. Promotion opportunities are there for those that want them, and the office I was working in (Henrietta House) is in the heart of London. There are plenty of extra-curricular activities to get involved in and the people (by and large) are pleasant to work with.

Cons

Work/life balance is pretty dire and remote working is discouraged (you can work at home if your manager agrees, but no laptop was provided). If you get landed with a poor manager, there is little opportunity to complain as it's a very "old school" structure. I ended up deeply unhappy and depressed due to a manager who bullied me and, despite bringing it up in reviews, it was never dealt with. I couldn't leave quick enough after joining.

Pros

Company culture is great. Company offers lots of great free training Company is always looking for ways to utilize technology to stay relevant The company is very inclusive lots of women and people of color working within the company.

Cons

Sometimes you can get stuck in one position. It can be difficult to work your way up in the company. Management has their obvious favorites. Although staff and employees are very diverse, upper managements is still very much dominated by white men. In staff positions, if you get put on one team, you can get stuck working on that one team with no option for movement to other teams. You literally have to find new departments to work in if you want to grow even then it may just be a unilateral move.

Pros

-They are hiring like gangbusters right now. It is extremely easy to get a job

Cons

-Very low pay for the accounting industry -Work is dull and mind-numbing -The benefits package is very poor. 401k match and medical/dental are laughable. Very little vacation time and there is no alloted sick time. You are viewed as lazy and a burden to your coworkers if you take vacation time. -Many managers have no talent in managing people (and have no interest in changing). They just wanted the pay raise -Very little professional development opportunities -Upward mobility is EXTREMELY slow. Promotions are often based on popularity rather than performance -My manager was new and didn't know the systems (and was very slow to learn). Other seniors and managers were not willing to step in to help -The "point system" of rating property difficulty is totally inaccurate.
