Pros

None at all, worked way above the hours I should have with no thanks

Cons

-Minimum training given -Bullying mentality within Supervisors I TUPE’d into CBRE and the attitude of the supervisors is absolutely shocking. Absolutely no support or training given. When asked for training there was always an excuse given. Invoicing the client with incorrect information (fraud). Once I handed in my notice, I had petty comments said about me, but not too me.

Pros

-Big Organization -Good Work Environment - good office and work spaces with adequate infrastructure/facilities -Recession Proof - company doesn't have a culture of laying off people -Good Increments -No Cabins – All employees irrespective of their designation work alongside which is a big plus to any organisations. Improves in communication and makes management/other co-workers approachable

Cons

-Pathetic and third rate work culture (any anonymous survey among employees will reveal how much we all hate working in the company) -Zero work life balance -No respect for the personal space and time of an employee - the managers think they own the employees and treat them like slaves. There are instances when employees have been hounded on the hospital bed too!!! -The above statement equally applies to situations when you are on a holiday/vacation or attending to a sick family member - CBRE is just plain ruthless to the extent that you personal travel on weekends (yes!!) can also be restricted by management - permissions have to be taken for weekend travels as well!! -Youngsters with no maturity are promoted as GMs or Senior GMs only by virtue of spending more years in the company. Once they get to that stage their only job is to forward emails and ask others to finish the work ASAP – they literally do not move an inch from their seats but pretend to do all the work. -No logic in the promotion policy - positions and new hierarchies are randomly created only to accommodate people!!! -It’s cute how during team offsites it is completely acceptable for the whole team (including the bosses) to completely go offline and not reply to emails or even postpone deadlines (to clients). But if an employee does the same during a weekend or during a personal emergency for a single day all hell breaks loose. Total hypocrites! -Nothing new comes out of their reports- lot of copy paste from older reports with a change in formatting. Reports have more disclaimers than actual takeaways!!!!!! -The worst of all is the "its not my job" culture - anyone with 2+ years in the company starts refusing to do work that might involve any hard work/labour which is required for any project. They forget that any work is important and should be treated with respect. But unfortunately they start believing that they are now managers who will only review works done by others and will not touch any work beneath their "dignity" - all a result of bloated egos! -Totally unfriendly work culture

Pros

The company has a nice office and okay benefits.

Cons

If you are not a broker, don't expect much from management. Expect to work long hours and be treated poorly. I have seen a lot of co-workers get pushed out of the company in recent months. If you are a CSA, you will not move up in the company, that is where you will always be. No proper training with internal programs. Poor direction.
