Very bad company

Pros

Work from home, insurance policy

Cons

Managers will get upset when you ask about any work or ask for training. Do not join this company it will ruin your career. Very long recruitment process and after 2 weeks of training you will be required to solve the entire company’s problems, you are on your own with no help or training. If you ask for more training you will be fired and expected to do every task independently. Your colleagues will not help you.

Pros

really nice colleagues great name for your resume decent work life balance- hours tend to be less than other big name broker shops

Cons

i am appalled to recently have discovered a fellow colleague of mine made $5,000 more in his base salary than me despite having no actual commercial real estate experience (me having FIVE years when i started at CBRE) and less education than me. he was offered a range, whereas i was simply offered a number. why? because he’s married? because he’s a man? this is deeply upsetting. this company talks a big talk about diversity and gender equality and yet here we are.

Pros

Your first few months are very inclusive The work is very good experience Very intelligent, highly motivated teams Benefits are competitive

Cons

Hiring takes forever because nobody is ever good enough Very punitive environment; Your mistakes will they be used against you... always High turnover; nobody ever seems to be be good enough for senior management People are seriously afraid of HR here; once you are on their radar things get very bad for you Get used to being micromanaged; you have no autonomy, no discretion; your opinions, ideas are not welcome Managers call people names; it’s just so unprofessional People are allowed to have alcohol in the office and managers go out at lunch and drink with clients then return to work No work-life balance. You will work from 7am to 9pm and on weekends
