      Interesting work but weak business development

      Pros

      Great people, work-life balance, flexible hours, defined benefit pension, ok health benefits, the tools you need to do the job are provided, Christmas shut-down.

      Cons

      Noncompetitive pay, and virtually no money for training or professional development for the average employee (limited online Sigal training courses don't count), useless annual goal setting exercises. Few new contract wins has resulted in several rounds of layoffs. Low employee engagement.

      Pros

      The company as a whole is a good company to work for. They do reward you for a Job well done. I like to work, it is a fast paced environment, but they treat you fairly well.

      Cons

      some managers are put into positions simply because of the education. They dont have any real exp in managing people. Some people are hard to work with. The turnover is high, mainly because out of all of the employers in the defense industry, they are lagging behind in the Salary Category.
