The pay is great. There are a few things that take intelligence. Four day weekends every other week.

Cons

Twelve hours is a long time to be stuck in a box with 20-40 of the same people every night. Management has no idea what you do, and will decide you aren't performing based on metrics regardless of how difficult one task is compared to another. The people that are friends with management rarely get in trouble for breaking rules.

Challenging environment, Good to learn new things if you are in the right group.

Cons

You never know that you will have the job next quarter. No perks, only salary. If department is making less profit, some layoffs will happen, if dept in loss, consider mass layoffs.
