The compensation and 401k match is above industry standard

Cons

Broadcom will not allow employees to work from home in San Jose. There are also rarely backfills for attrition. This continually increases the work load for existing employees. Even though the compensation is above average this can cause burn out as workloads become unmanagable.

Benefits are excellent with a yearly stipend for your HSA ($2000), bonus and stock for your health benefits. Local team was supportive of one another.

Cons

Culture clash. The manager that ran the show belittled the whole team from India to the US. Everyone was scared of losing their jobs so nobody reported it to HR.
