      staff travel entitlement, not enough to stay though

      Cons

      Awful old British style of oppressive management, treating employees like robots/corporate drones. The emporer has no clothes indeed.

      Pros

      Great staff who generally want to do their best for the company. Waterside good place to work. Staff Travel.

      Cons

      Currently undertaking a mass offshore outsourcing of IT, Procurement, Finance and other functions based on a 'numbers game' with no regard to Quality. IAG driving cost reductions with no strong BA Senior Management to challenge. People are just a staff number and past dedication to the company counts for nothing. Distribution Curve pay scheme demoralising. Morale very low, BA is losing it's identity, end of an era.

      Good travel perks, flexible working (in some departments)

      Cons

      Continual cost cutting and outsourcing to India and Poland for IT, Procurement and finance is hitting hard. Good quality experienced staff leaving and being replaced with off shore IT contractors in India, reducing quality and impacting remaining staff morale - pays lip service to employee surveys and does the minimum to try to look as if the company cares.
