Pros

Great career exposure n experience. I have nothing good about BS in mind that I can comment on. My only advice, think twice before you join.

Cons

Lousy team work and lousy team leader. Unreasonable tight deadline with no proper instruction. Bad human relationship among teammates. Unprofessional leading attitude frm team leader n practice favoritism and bias against certain staffs.

Pros

Aspirations of the company are great

Cons

Bridgestone EMEA has had a bad financial performance for the past 3-4 years. With bad financial performance, the company also has a bad culture, bad management and no focus on talent. Each day, you see so much talent go to waste. Managers are so focused on their own standing that they don't focus on helping you get work done. This will not get any better with the new CEO. Take your talents somewhere else. HR (Marketing & Strategy) person is the worst of all. This person is the reason why there is a toxic culture within the company. Many people have left because of this person.

Don't Do It

Pros

The company is currently purging dead wood upper management that has been earning a large amount of the profits for years.

Cons

The restructuring that has failed in other companies is now taking place in BSRO. The money that they saving from forcing the current dead wood management into retirement they will be using to overpay new managers that have never worked in a shop or on cars thereby eliminating any rational thought of what is necessary to please a customer.
