Pros

Job security is only second to public service. Slow but linear growth. Strong business ethics. Industry leader. Fair treatment of employees. Good team work.

Cons

Not-motivating working style. Too much hierarchy. Difficulty in working with the Japanese. Too much attention to detail- not enough focus on the big picture. Impossible to express opinion against senior management (no freedom of speech). Below the average compensation scheme.

Pros

Friendly people, complex industrial process that is challenging, good employee benefits

Cons

Innovation not encouraged. Lot of employees have been there for long and don't care anymore. Some new young employees find they are trapped in a bureaucratic and "dinosaur" system that doesn't give them the opportunity to grow, and they quit.
