The company had good health insurance, sick pay, holiday pay and vacation pay. I enjoyed my job. The management were ok.

Cons

The company is very large. It moved all the accounts receivable/ customer service position to South America,,,, How are America people going to purchase products when their jobs are going over seas.

Firestone Building Products is a well established company with a solid reputation of taking care of it's customers. Teammates within the company work well together and the overall environment is very friendly. Fairly relaxed atmosphere with a good track record of bonus payouts for meeting or exceeding projected revenues.

Cons

Firestone Building Products does operate with limited manpower given it's overall business, which does require over 50 hours per week depending on the position/responsibilities. The company does go through constant change without any real stability. Leadership is hesitant to listen to it's teammates who are the subject matter experts.

This was once great company that would ensure a hard working individual could build a career from the ground up, and genuinely cared about the people it employed.

Cons

This company has undergone massive upper management changes that made it an entity of embarrassingly inept business models that to anyone with an ounce of business accumen would be astonished to learn that the retail stores still exist.
