It's a very classist company. I worked at a Firestone and most of the techs were amazing, and the service manager was awesome. But if we were slammed and someone from corporate needs their daughter's car oil changed the store manager was quick to brown-nose and try to make everyone else bend over backwards for someone who was retired from corporate. And no matter how much progress you make professionally, you'll be beaten down verbally and mentally by the store manager even if other people are telling you you're doing great and improving. And if you ever need any help with anything and reach out to HR, just assume your issue won't get resolved. After all, you're just a worker ant they couldn't care less about.
