Pros

Pay was pretty good, but unfair between employees in different departments doing the same job.

Cons

Manager bullying, racial discrimination, ethically immoral, they hire employees into roles that have no experience and pass up people who would be great candidates, employee investigations are never resolved. I was told by my manager that I needed to work not only while in the office for 9 hours, but I needed to take my work home as well and was expected to work at night for long hours. I said the workload was unmanageable for the year and a half that I was there and nothing was done. Work was unfairly distributed. Terrible culture. DO NOT work here. I would seriously look somewhere else - it is guaranteed that you will be miserable.

Pros

Nice downtown office, good benefits

Cons

Worked there for 14 years, company, recently relocated the office to Nashville. I worked in the finance group. People work for a lot less here in Nashville than where we came from. Once they saw what I was making I was a marked man. They replaced me with younger, cheaper employees who have already left for other opportunities. Every employee is wearing a price tag, they just don't know it. If you enjoy stress this is a great place to work.

Pros

Depending on who your manager is/what department you work in, you could have a fantastic experience with Bridgestone. I’ve worked for 3 different managers and the differences are night and day. The company brands are very well known and highly regarded - especially in the Nashville market.

Cons

IT systems are outdated and getting technical support is near impossible when you need help. Benefits and bonus pay have consistently been watered down every year since I started. Insane parking rules if you work in Nashville - no options to park after hours or on the weekends for events even though the garage sits completely empty. Lots of politics involved to receive a promotion or raise.
