Pros

The employees were great in Dickson. We had several good teams that wanted to change and were willing to help out. The attitude was starting to change when I left and I am most proud of that. Obviously it was a team effort but I was a large part of that team. The ability is there they just need someone to lead them.

Cons

The management team is hard to get along with. Several have been there for many years and don't want change. I had a hard time making changes because I would get the "we have always done it this way" attitude.

Pros

Paid for services performed weekly. Poor health benefits offered right away. Good emp. price on bridgestone or firestone tires.

Cons

Long pointless applicant screening process. Soon after higher, required out of state training that they will royally screw everything up from flight plans to group rental car. Costing you hours of waiting and non-communication at the corporate level. Will not be paid for training, travel or hold and wait time. You will be roped in with a signing bonus that will "Never" materialize. Even after 4-5 month not cleared. The near mentally handicapped oil service guy is paid more than trained tech's because he's hourly. You rely on sub-standard parts to repair vehicles from retailers no educated tech. buys from. You will be offered health care package that charges a weekly premium out of your check if you smoke or use tobacco products. So much so, you dare not sign up for coverage. cheaper to pay cash at the E.R.. Some locations are very old like mine, and need updating and tools severely. With issues arising, you soon find your regionals do not want to be bothered with your store. And will certainly make that your issue if there's a complaint or help needed. Mandatory actions to be taken on every service that halts your from doing your flag work to assist in the work of other hourly's jobs. If you are injured on the job. You have to call a hotline that asks stupid medical questions, so they can give you the go-ahead to seek medical treatment. Long days with small pays. kiss your kid in the morning extra. Because your kissing them good night too.
