Where to start...
- The opportunities for advancement are a lie
- Manipulative. They will assign lower level employees higher level duties under the guise of gaining experience for promotion. The promotion never happens. They will continue having people do higher level work without ever opening a position at the higher level, because you are already doing it. In the event a higher level position opens, they will outside hire so as to add to their head count. Despite bringing on the higher level employees, they will not reassign work appropriately to those higher levels. If you call attention to this, it is frowned upon and you will be made to feel as though you thwarted your own possibility for advancement - but in actuality, it was never going to happen in the first place.
- Mass understaffing, with zero acknowledgement or appreciation for current employees. They over-work employees in order to save the company $$$ which we never see.
- Standard, non-performance based raises which discourages any motivation after multiple years in a job
- Most of your job will not be actually doing your job. Most of your job will be navigating the endless corporate red-tape of asking permission to do your job.
