Working with students can be rewarding, especially getting to guide student employees in what may be their first job.
Cons
Promotions are hard to come by. Raises are abysmal, and forget cost of living raises. You get merit-based only and it's usually less than 3%. Turnover is high due to lack of promotions and burnout. You also have to pay for parking.
